Ancient Landscape

This piece had an evolution in that I originally saw content of looming shadows, a machine like object,there was higher contrast, there was little color.   The mood was  ominous.  Then, I brought more color into the piece. I also utilized scraping and shading measures to  create more depth.  I began to imagine a Scottish ruin which I remember from my visit to St. Andrews.   I found the mood to still be mysterious but more lighthearted.
